IN CERTAINTY/UNCERTAINTY: SEATTLE AT THE TURN OF THE CENTURY

POLAROID IMAGE TRANSFERS BY LISA MONHOFF, 1998-2000

This collection of images is comprised of Polaroid Land Camera photographic image transfer works on paper. Due to the nature of the instant photographic developing process of Polaroid film, these images were transferred to paper on site at the location of each photo using a simple, portable kit I created for this purpose. I used multiple cameras found at thrift stores around the Puget Sound and Polaroid 669 instant color film.
