An Oakland, California based archivist specializing in archival project management. With over two decades of experience working in private and public history special collections on appraisal, accessioning, arrangement, description, and digitization projects. I have completed numerous large and small projects including working with many types of materials on subjects ranging from literary and political manuscript collections, to newspaper comic strip and political cartoon art,  to grassroots disability rights and environmental activist organizational records. I enjoy the process of continually learning about different subjects through the archival collections I've worked on as well as hearing about collecting philosophies, collection development and collection management practices within and outside of cultural heritage institutions. My research and artistic interests these days mainly revolve around the intersection of the history of libraries and archives with art and exhibition curation, print culture, media, and social movements.
